Firefighters Free Dog Stuck Underneath Home For 30+ Hours
LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) - An 8-year-old Jack Russell Terrier found herself in some trouble underneath a home in Littleton. Firefighters say she could be heard barking for help on Tuesday.
Littleton firefighters say Luna had been stuck under the foundation of the house on Harrison Road in Centennial since 7:30 a.m. Monday.
Firefighters from other agencies stepped into help free her.
Family members tell CBS4's Karen Morfitt they believe Luna chased a rabbit and ran into a hole under the house which they were unaware of.
After nearly 36 hours under the foundation, Luna was rescued safely at around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday.
