Strong Wind Helps Push Brush Fire To Grow To 100 Acres
STRASBURG, Colo. (CBS4) - South Metro firefighters helped other agencies tackle a wildland fire near Strasburg on Monday. The strong wind gusts helped push the brush fire quickly.
The fire burned about 100 acres along Highway 36 (also known as Colfax in the area) before firefighters contained it. The road was closed for a time.
It's not clear what caused the fire.
