Steam Locomotive Makes Debut At Colorado Railroad Museum

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - The Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden debuted its newest steam locomotive on Saturday.

The K-37 is the largest operating narrow gauge steam locomotive in the Western hemisphere.

The Denver and Rio Grand Western Railroad built the train in 1928.

The locomotive spent most of its life running in the mountains of Southwestern Colorado. It has been in the museum's collection for years, but just recently went through a restoration to bring it back into service.
