Springs Man Arrested, Accused Of Dancing Naked

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A Colorado Springs man was arrested after police say he was driving around, blasting music from his car and then getting out and dancing naked in at least one neighborhood.

Some people living in the 1200 block of Norwood Avenue in Colorado Springs called police to report a man dancing naked in a yard on Friday morning. The couple at the home said the man pulled up in his car, began blaring music from his car stereo and dancing to the beat.

They called police because he wasn't wearing any clothes. Before officers arrived, he got back into his car and drove off.

A short time later one of the officers was flagged down by person who said someone was driving recklessly. The officer tracked down the driver after he crashed at a home on Colorado Avenue near 15th Street and realized it was the same description as the one belonging to the disrobed dancer.

The suspect was identified as Randy Romero. He tried to run but was quickly captured by police. Romero was evaluated at the hospital for injuries and was booked on charges of indecent exposure, eluding and various traffic violations.

It's unclear if he was naked when he was arrested.
