Denver Encourages Citizens To Sign Up For 'Snow Buddy' Program
DENVER (CBS4) - It might not be too long before residents in Denver are out shoveling snow off driveways and sidewalks again, and Denver city leaders are looking for a few good "snow buddies."
The idea is for folks to volunteer to keep an eye on sidewalks of elderly neighbors and to keep them shoveled during the winter months.
The city is teaming up with Volunteers of America to organize Snow Buddies. You can find out how to be involved by calling (720) 264-3379 or by signing up at the website voacolorado.org.
