Shooting In JCPenney Parking Lot Under Investigation
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A shooting in a shopping mall's parking lot is under investigation.
Aurora Police responded Tuesday at approximately 7:30 p.m. to the lot outside JCPenney at the Town Center of Aurora.
The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, and one person was taken into custody. Police originally believed a second suspect was still at large, but as of 9 p.m. said they were not looking for a second.
The mall remained open during the crime scene investigation.
