Shane Ray Has MCL Sprain, Emmanuel Sanders Should Be Ready For Green Bay Game
DENVER (CBS4) - Linebacker Shane Ray has a sprained MCL and Broncos coach Gary Kubiak hopes Ray's recovery will be a "short-term" deal.
Ray was injured during the Broncos 26-23 overtime win over the Browns. He's expected to miss a few weeks.
Kubiak confirmed the injury on Monday afternoon in Denver after returning from Cleveland.
"We think he's lucky," Kubiak said. "He's going to miss a little bit of time, but hopefully it's not going to be too much."
Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has a bruised left shoulder but Kubiak said he shouldn't miss a game.
The Broncos have a bye week coming up and will face the Green Bay Packers on Nov. 1 in a primetime Sunday Night Football matchup.
