Semi Ignites In Flames On I-70 Near 32nd Ave.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- A semi truck traveling on Interstate 70 at 32nd Avenue ignited in flames on Thursday afternoon.
The semi was traveling eastbound on I-70 when it became fully engulfed in flames.
Copter4 flew over the semi as crews were trying to clean up after the fire had been extinguished.
All lanes of I-70 were closed for about a half hour until some westbound lanes were open.
A short time later some traffic was getting by in one lane near the semi.
The truck was hauling biscuits.
What caused the fire is being investigated by West Metro Fire Rescue crews.
