RTD Hopes To Keep Services At Same Level Through Next Year
DENVER (CBS4)- RTD cut its service by 40% during the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic and now the organization is considering additional spending cuts. That would keep services at the same level in 2021.
RTD's budget decision will depend on how long COVID-19 continues to impact our state and how long riders reduce their use of public transit.
RTD hopes to keep service at 60% for those using bus or train service to get to essential places like work or doctor's appointments.
