RTD: A Line Returns To Normal Service Schedule
DENVER (CBS4) - Operational issues at some street crossings caused some delays for RTD's train-to-the-plane service on Wednesday morning. Operations were back to normal by 9 a.m.
The technical problems apparently are located at some of the A Line crossings between Union Station and Denver International Airport. There were false activations at some crossings.
A CBS4 crew at Union Station at 6:30 a.m. witnessed a train arriving and one departing for the airport.
The delays at that time were reported as being 15 to 30 minutes. Earlier in the morning the delays were apparently more drastic. Those delays were reduced to five to 10 minutes by 8 a.m. Wednesday and operations had returned to normal by 9 a.m.
RTD officials said passengers should give themselves at least 30 minutes of extra time Wednesday morning.
The A Line has been riddled with problems since its launch in the spring.
