Regis University To Provide Safe Outdoor Space For Those Experiencing Homelessness
DENVER (CBS4)- People experiencing homelessness in Denver will have another safe space to go. Regis University said it will provide shelter for those in need.
The 1,900 square foot space is in a parking lot on the university's northwest section of its Denver campus at 50th Avenue and Federal Boulevard.
The safe space will open June 8 for 6 months and provide 24-hour staffed and secured housing for up to 60 people.
