Police Urge Scooter Owners To Protect Their Ride
DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are urging scooter owners to protect their ride after an increase in stolen motorbikes and scooters.
So far this year, police have received reports of 53 stolen scooters compared to 36 reports for the same time frame last year. That is a more than 47 percent increase.
Police said there are ways scooter owners can protect themselves from being targeted that are different from other alternative means of transportation like bicycles.
