Police Release Identity Of Suspect In RTD Bus Stabbing

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver investigators are trying to figure out what prompted a deadly stabbing on an RTD bus on Tuesday.

Isaiah Moreno, 20, is being held on first degree murder charges in the stabbing.

It happened near West Colfax Avenue and Colfax Avenue in the afternoon, and other passengers say it started with a fight.

So far the coroner hasn't released the identity of the victim.

"We heard a lot of loud screaming and fighting and arguing, and the next thing you know, I guess one of the guys that was riding the bus had gotten stabbed," one witness said. "So the bus driver then pulled over here at the stop and just told everybody they they've got to get off the bus."
