Police Release Description Of Vehicle Involved In Colfax Hit & Run
DENVER (CBS4) - Police in Denver would like the public's help locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run last Wednesday.
According to police, at approximately 8:30 p.m. a man identified as John Higgins, also known as "Catfish," was crossing East Colfax Avenue near North Tamarac Street when he was struck by a car traveling westbound on Colfax.
A friend of Higgins saw the incident and came to his aid to keep other vehicles from striking him.

Higgins was suffered serious injuries but is expected to live.
"The vehicle fled the scene, last seen northbound on Trenton Street from Colfax Avenue," police said in a statement.
Higgins friend was able to provide police with a description of the suspect vehicle -- a white or silver 2008-2009 Dodge Charger.
"It should be missing the driver's side rear view mirror as a result of this collision," police said.
