Plane Makes Emergency Landing On I-70
RIFLE, Colo. (CBS4) - A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing on Interstate 70 near Rifle Monday evening.
CDOT tells CBS4 the plane ran out of fuel and had to touch down on the interstate.
Trooper Nate Reid says no one was hurt, and no vehicles on the highway were hit.
One lane of traffic was blocked as crews tried to move the plane off the highway.
The NTSB and FAA were set to take over the investigation.
