Pilot Survives Small Plane Crash In Franktown
FRANTOWN, Colo. (CBS4) - A pilot walked away from a small plane crash in Franktown Sunday morning.
YouReporter Phil Curry sent CBS4 the pictures of the wreck. It happened around 9:30 a.m. in the Bannock Burn neighborhood.
Curry told CBS4 there were strong winds when the pilot tried to land on a grass airstrip. The nose of the Cessna 140 hit the ground and flipped over.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said the pilot wasn't hurt. The plane suffered minor damage.
