Parks & Rec To Keep Public Pools Open Longer
DENVER (CBS4) - With heat continuing and Denver schools not starting for another couple of weeks, Parks and Recreation is trying to keep everyone cool.
The city is keeping the Congress, Mestizo, Barnum, Berkley and Eisenhower pools open until Aug. 26. Most Denver schools start the following Monday.
The pools are scattered throughout the city to make sure everyone has a place to swim. They are still free for children on weekends and just $1 for everyone over 18.
