Man Getting Mental Evaluation After Standoff With SWAT Team
PARKER, Colo. (CBS4) - A man is in custody after a standoff with SWAT teams in Parker.
Officers showed up Thursday afternoon when the man allegedly pointed a gun at a maintenance worker out blowing leaves. The suspect then locked himself in his apartment.
A nearby day care had to be placed on lockdown and neighbors were warned to stay inside.
The suspect surrendered peacefully after about two hours. He's getting a mental evaluation at the hospital.
Nobody was hurt.
