Suspect Breaks Into 3 Parker Businesses

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Parker are searching for a man who broke into three different businesses on Monday night.

All of the break-ins were in the Pine Lane Plaza, near Parker Road and E-470. One of the crimes -- at Buffalo Boyd's Restaurant and Saloon -- was caught on a surveillance camera. It shows the suspect, who was wearing a disguise, stealing a safe that had more than $10,000 in it from the restaurant.

The suspect also stole money from a medical office and nabbed its supply of vaccines.

The Twisted Knit, a yarn store, had its front door smashed, a display stand knocked over and its cash register pried open. The act was enough to jeopardize owner Susan Evans' business.

"It's $1,000 or more that we didn't need to be paying out at this time of year and for a new business it's hard for us," Evans told CBS4.

The Twisted Knit has only been open since the summer and had already been struggling to stay afloat financially. Evans said she'll be featuring a 10 percent sale until the end of the week as a way to try to stir up more business.

If you have any information about the break-ins you are asked to call Parker police.
