Ohioan Found Dead Was In Colorado National Guard

WESTERVILLE, Ohio (AP) — Central Ohio authorities say their investigation into a pregnant woman's death led them to a home about 3 miles from where the body was found in a car along a country road.

They didn't indicate Thursday whether they found anything linked to the case of 23-year-old Deanna Ballman.

Her body was found Wednesday northeast of Columbus. She lived in nearby Pataskala and had been reported missing Tuesday.

Relatives said Ballman had gone to do a house-cleaning job she found through an online classified ad. Her mother said Ballman called Tuesday and said she wasn't feeling well, and then the call was dropped.

The Colorado Army National Guard on Thursday identified Ballman as a supply specialist with the 220th Military Police and said she was transferring to an Ohio unit.
