Officer John Adsit Returns For Another Surgery On His Long Road To Recovery
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Police Officer John Adsit had another surgery on Monday.
Adsit was on a police bicycle escorting student protesters when he was hit by a car three months ago. He suffered a severed artery, broken bones, a punctured lung and had his spleen removed.
Since then Adsit has undergone more than 10 surgeries.

He was released from the hospital last month but has been continuing his long-term recovery at home.
His family appreciates the community's continued prayers and support.
