No Battery In Smoke Detector In Motel Room Where 2 Children Were Killed In Fire
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Investigators now say there was a smoke detector in the room of a motel in Colorado Springs where a fire killed two children, but somebody took the battery out.
Five people were trapped inside the room at the Ranch Motel when the fire started Saturday morning.

Two-year-old Cheyenne Jones and her 4-year-old brother Wade died. Their mother, another child, and a man survived.
Investigators have not said yet if the fire was intentionally set or an accident.
