Mother Of Children Who Died After House Fire Sentenced
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A mother whose children were killed in a fire while left home alone will spend the next 27 years of her life behind bars.
A judge sentenced Danielle Brockman on Friday. Prosecutors say two years ago she left her children alone so she could go out with friends. The house caught fire and her 3-year-old son and 15-month-old daughter died.
Brockman plead guilty this summer to child abuse resulting in death.
