Mediator To Meet With Aurora Shooting Victims
DENVER (AP) — The mediator trying to resolve a dispute over funds for the victims of the Aurora shooting is meeting with victims and their relatives.
Kenneth Feinberg is meeting Thursday and Friday with the victims to decide how more than $5 million should be distributed.
Victims have complained they aren't getting the money they need to deal with the tragedy. Feinberg says the money should be handed out with no strings attached.
Former University of Colorado-Denver graduate student James Holmes is accused of killing 12 people and wounding 58 others in the July 20 attack. He has another hearing on Thursday.
