Mayor Succeeds At World Record Ferris Wheel Ride
JOHNSTOWN, Colo. (CBS4) - The mayor of Johnstown broke a world record by riding a ferris wheel for 50 hours straight.
It happened on the indoor carnival ride at Schools, a sporting goods store in Johnstown.
Mayor Scott James started at 3 p.m. Thursday and finally hopped off on Saturday.
He took catnaps when the store closed.
Shoppers were also able to ride the ferris wheel and help raise money for the Larimer County Food Bank and Weld Food Bank.
