Massive Blaze Breaks Out In Denver Garage
DENVER (CBS4) - A massive blaze broke out Friday evening off Colorado Avenue and Alcott Street.
The water crews put on the fire actually may have fueled the fire. Investigators are looking to see whether magnesium was in the garage.
Magnesium makes it harder to put out a fire and pouring water on it actually makes the flames more intense. It's found in used in auto parts.
Firefighters were still working to put out the flames after 6:30 p.m.
