Manning Benched After 4th Pick, Broncos Trail Chiefs 22-0 After 3rd Quarter
DENVER (CBS4/The Sports Xchange) - The Denver Broncos opened the second half with a surprise onside kick but weren't able to gain possession of the ball.
The Broncos' offensive woes continued at the start of the second half. On their first possession Denver went three and out and were forced to punt.
On the Chiefs second possession of the half Cairo Santos nailed a 50-yard field goal to make it 22-0.
Head coach Gary Kubiak made the tough decision to bench Peyton Manning after he threw his fourth interception. Brock Osweiler came in and completed his first pass.
