Man Sentenced To Maximum For Attempted Sex Assault On Boy
DENVER (CBS4) - A registered sex offender has been sentenced to the maximum in connection with the kidnapping and attempted sexual assault of a 10-year-old neighbor boy last summer.
Lynn Kimbrough with the Denver District Attorney's Office said Richard Holman, 51, pleaded guilty to second degree kidnapping and attempted sexual assault on a child.
Holman was sentenced on Friday to 48 years in prison plus 10 years of intensive supervised probation for sex offenders. He was also determined to be a sexually violent predator.
Holman has an extensive criminal history that includes sexual assault on children.
