Man Recovering After Fall On North Maroon Peak
ASPEN, Colo. (AP) — Authorities say a 59-year-old man is recovering after he fell about 50 feet while descending North Maroon Peak near Aspen.
The Pitkin County Sheriff's Office says the man, whose name has not been released, was with four other people when he fell at about noon Saturday.
The man, who was about 200 feet from the summit when he fell, suffered a possible broken jaw and multiple other injuries.
