Man Pleads Guilty To Shooting At Police Officers
DENVER (CBS4)- A man accused of shooting at police officers while in police custody last year has pleaded guilty in connection with the case.
Issac Vigil pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree murder on Thursday in Denver District Court.
On May 14, 2014, Vigil, 33, was arrested on a felony warrant related to drug charges and was in custody at the Denver District 4 police station when he fired a gun at police officers.
Vigil was sitting in the back seat of a patrol car when he fired a gun that he had hidden.
He remains in custody in the Denver Detention Center. Vigil is scheduled to appear for sentencing in Denver District Court on May 21.
