Man Critically Injured In Possible Road Rage Incident In Westminster

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Westminster would like the public's help locating a suspect in a possible road rage incident that left a man with critical injuries.

According to police, at approximately 8:40 a.m. Sunday officers responded to an injured 67-year old male party in the roadway near 104th Avenue and Independence Street.

"He was found outside of his vehicle and was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries," police said in a statement.

Witnesses told police they heard an argument between at least two men before officers found the injured man.

"Police believe that the man's injuries could be the result of a road rage incident," police said.

Police are looking for a man associated with a white older model pickup truck that was seen leaving the area. Police are also trying to locate a female witness associated with a red car.
