Man At Bachelor Party Falls To Death In Black Hawk

BLACK HAWK, Colo. (CBS4) - A man fell to his death in Black Hawk during a bachelor party early Saturday morning.

The incident happened just before 5 a.m. at the Lady Luck Hotel and Casino. Police say it appears the man, identified as Dirk Anderson of Thornton, sat on a small ledge and fell or leaned against the screen of an open window. The screen gave way and he fell from the 11th floor and landed on the roof of the parking garage five stories below.

Police say there was alcohol in the room. They are waiting for toxicology reports to determine how much the man had consumed.

Police said there was no evidence of horse play in the room and so far the death has been ruled an accident.
