Man Accused Of Killing Englewood Officer In Hit & Run Free On Bond
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The driver suspected of hitting and killing an Englewood police officer is now free on bond.
Conner Donohue, 20, appeared in court on Friday. He was advised of 12 counts against him, including DUI and vehicular homicide.
Donohue posted $100,000 bond. He is charged with striking both Officer Jeremy Bitner and the man Bitner pulled over on a traffic stop. Police say Donohue kept driving, but Littleton police caught up with him a short time later.
The other man survived.
