More Clouds and Cooler Saturday; A Fair and Pleasant Easter Sunday
strong>By Ed Greene
DENVER (CBS4) - Friday was not nearly as windy as Thursday, but the high temperatures were exactly the same: 78 degrees downtown and 79 at the airport. A weak and mostly dry cold front will push through the state overnight and that will bring more clouds to Denver on Saturday and drop the temperature into the upper 60s - still above the normal high of 61 for this time of year.
Easter Sunday should start off in the lower 40s - if you're headed to sunrise services, and the day will be fair and mild with a high into the lower 70s. We'll start next week with continuing mild and dry conditions - mid 70s for both Monday and Tuesday. Cooler with a chance for scattered showers or storms for Wednesday and Thursday...and by Friday, rain showers and a high only in the mid 50s.
