Chances For Rain Go Up In The Week Ahead
DENVER (CBS4) - A cold front will slide through on Monday with rain and mountain snow over western Colorado to start the week. The front will cool down the eastern plains but, not produce much moisture.
The northern mountains may see 1 to 3 inches of snow overnight Sunday into Monday at some of the higher elevations.
The Monday front will cool temperatures over eastern Colorado but, it doesn't look like any precipitation will make it into the area until Monday night.
This system will open the door however, for better chances for rain and cooler temperatures Tuesday through Friday.
