Brief Cool Down With A Few Scattered Storms

DENVER (CBS4) - Enjoy a break from the heat today if you live along and east of Interstate 25.

A cool front has dropped us by 10-15 degrees from where we were this time yesterday.

But the break won't last long with temperatures climbing again by the end of the week.

We will see a few showers and storms this afternoon and evening but most of them will be confined to the mountains along and south of I-70.

We'll see a better chance for storms, including in Denver and on the eastern plains, by this time tomorrow.
