Scattered Showers and Storms Increase as the Week Goes On

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - Skies stayed clear over most of Colorado for the partial eclipse today! The temperatures was 84 at DIA at 10:53am; dropped to 78 at 11:53am (just after the most sun coverage); and then it bounced back to 82 degrees at 12:53pm as more sun was being revealed. Our official high was 87 degrees - exactly normal for this time of year. Tuesday should be just a few degrees cooler with a chance for scattered showers and storms. More of the same for Wednesday with a high in the mid 80s.

For Thursday, there will be more clouds with a better chance for showers and storms as we stay in the mid 80s. Mostly fair for Friday with a high in the mid to upper 80s.
