Freezing Fog, Drizzle And Flurries

By Dave Aguilera

DENVER (CBS4) - After another above normal day with temperatures around the Mile High City making into the low 50s we are turning our attention to another fast-moving cold front that will slide through overnight Saturday into Sunday. This front will be mixing in with a bit of moisture flowing in from the southwest. Enough to create a few light flurries, freezing drizzle and fog over eastern Colorado. This may make a few of our bridges and overpasses icy on Sunday morning.

Skies should clear quickly by afternoon on Sunday with a warming trend in the offing through the middle of next week. After that, there is a big cold wave expected to roll in on Thursday. This may bring highs down to possibly below freezing for the first day of winter on the 21st.
