Large Pileup Snarls Traffic On I-70 During Morning Commute
DENVER (CBS4) - A large pileup occurred Monday morning on Interstate 70 near Quebec.
In all 14 cars slammed into one another on the eastbound lanes. Nobody was seriously injured but it made a mess out of the morning commute.
Police said they were making a felony drug possession arrest on the shoulder of a nearby offramp and someone may have been distracted by the police activity, which may have contributed to the pileup.
