Justin's Expands Voluntary Peanut-Related Recall

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Justin's is expanding a voluntary recall of some of its peanut butter products because peanuts in them may have been contaminated with salmonella.

The company says some of its products include peanuts from Sunland Inc., which has recalled everything made in its plant since March 2010.

The Justin's recall now includes:

— 16-ounce Natural Classic Peanut Butter jars with "best by" dates of Aug. 23 to Sept. 26, 2012, and Aug. 7, 2013

— 1.15-ounce Natural Classic Peanut Butter Squeeze Packs with best by dates of Sept. 6 to Sept. 28, 2012

— 16-ounce Organic Classic Peanut Butter jars with best by dates of April 7, 2011, to Oct. 24, 2011, and from Jan. 19, 2012, to Aug. 1, 2012

— 1.15-ounce Organic Classic Peanut Butter Squeeze Packs with best by dates of March 19, 2011, to Aug. 6, 2012

— 16-ounce Natural Honey Peanut Butter jars with best by dates of Aug. 22 to Oct. 23, 2012, and Aug. 8, 2013, Aug. 9, 2013 and Aug. 25, 2013.

— 1.15-ounce Natural Honey Peanut Butter Squeeze Packs from Sept. 6 to Sept. 28, 2012, and July 24, 2013, July 25, 2013, and Aug. 24, 2013

— Half-ounce Natural Honey Peanut Butter Squeeze Packs from Aug. 11, 2011, to Dec. 7, 2012; July 14, 2013; July 26-July 29, 2013; Aug. 9-10, 2013; Aug. 13-15, 2013; Aug. 26-30, 2013

— 16-ounce Organic Honey Peanut Butter Jars and 1.15-ounce Organic Honey Peanut Butter Squeeze Packs from March 26, 2011-Aug. 8, 2012

— 16-ounce Natural Chocolate Peanut Butter Jars from March 23, 2011-Oct. 10, 2012

— 1.15-ounce Natural Chocolate Peanut Butter Squeeze Packs from April 2, 2011-Sept. 29, 2012

— 1.4-ounce Organic Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups from Nov. 11, 2011-March 23, 2013
