Jury Selection Under Way For Penny Flats Fire Suspect
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Jury selection is under way in Fort Collins for a man accused of setting fire to a building last fall.
Benjamin Gilmore, 30, is charged with arson and attempted murder. His trial is expected to last about three weeks.
Police say Gilmore set the Mason Flats in Old Town Fort Collins on fire last November. It was under construction, but the flames jumped next door to the Penny Flats condos, prompting 21 people to evacuate
The fire caused more than $10 million in damage.
