Jurors Deadlocked In Penny Flats Arson Case
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Jurors in the major arson trial in Fort Collins told the judge they're deadlocked.
Benjamin Gilmore is charged with setting fire to an apartment building under construction. The fire spread to the Penny Flats apartment complex. That fire last fall caused $10 million in damage.
Gilmore is charged with arson, attempted murder and criminal mischief.
Late Monday the jury told the judge they are stuck 50/50. The judge told the jury to come back Tuesday to continue deliberations.
The jury has been deliberating since last Tuesday after four weeks of testimony.
