Trial Begins For Jeffrey Sloan, Suspect Hit & Run Driver In Crash That Killed Uber Driver
DENVER (CBS4)- The trial for the suspect in a deadly hit-and-run crash that killed an Uber driver is underway. Jeffrey Sloan is accused of crashing into a car at Colfax and Colorado in June 2019.
Police say he sped away from the scene.
Sloan was tracked down by police after investigators found his ID in the car. The crash killed an Uber driver.
The Uber passenger, Mark Karla, was injured in the crash. Karla is the son-in-law of Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers.
