1 Dead, 1 Hurt In Disturbance, Fire At Home On Mount Vernon Road
(CBS4) - One person is dead and another is hurt after Jefferson County deputies respond to a disturbance call late Thursday. They saw flames coming out of a home when they arrived.
It happened on Mount Vernon Road north of Highway 6.
Deputies found a woman outside. She had serious injuries unrelated to the fire.
Investigators found a dead person inside the home after firefighters put out the flames.
