It's Stomping Week For The Snow Sculpture Championships In Breckenridge
BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) - Work is currently underway to build the 12-foot tall, 20-ton blocks of snow for the annual snow sculpture contest in Breckenridge.
Volunteers jumped into metal boxes to stamp down all the snow to make sure it's perfect for carving for the International Snow Sculpture Championships.

The sculpting starts the Jan. 27 and the winners are chosen Jan. 31.
It's the 25th year for the championships.
