Overturned Horse Trailer On I-25 Causes Traffic Delays
DENVER (CBS4)- Traffic in the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 at 48th was backed up Sunday afternoon because of an overturned horse trailer.
Traffic was getting around the accident on the shoulder at about 3 p.m. Sunday. Police and emergency vehicles had blocked off the three right lanes while the accident was cleaned up.
The accident is being investigated. There is no confirmation on how many vehicles were involved.
All the animals seemed to be okay and were transported away from the accident.
Traffic was moving smoothly in that area of I-25 about 45 minutes later.
