Highway Reopens In Western Colorado After Tanker Fire
RIFLE, Colo. (CBS4) - A highway on Colorado's Western Slope is reopen in both directions Monday morning after a massive semi tanker fire.
The fire broke out after a crash Sunday night on Highway 13 that took place at approximately 5 p.m.
The tanker rolled on its side and spilled numerous gallons of crude oil.
The resulting fire badly damaged a large portion of the road, and even spread to nearby grass and woods.
The driver managed to escape the wreck.
So far there's no word on what caused the accident.
