Hickenlooper, Hancock Lead Sept. 11 Remembrance
DENVER (AP) - Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock are hosting an event to mark the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The event Tuesday in front of the City and County building will include a remembrance march with first responders and military personnel.
Hickenlooper and Hancock will deliver remarks at the event, which will also honor first responders who helped during the summer's historic wildfires and the Aurora theater shooting that killed 12 people and wounded 58 others.
Aurora Mayor Steve Hogan and Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates will also speak at the event.
World Trade Center artifacts and a New York City fire department truck will be on display.
