Group Files Lawsuit Against Vail Resorts Over Amusement Park Plans
BEAVER CREEK, Colo. (CBS4) - A community in Beaver Creek is fighting plans to build what it calls an amusement park, so now it's suing Vail Resorts.
Construction is already underway on the project on private land. Vail Resorts says it wants to create a tubing hill and alpine coaster.
Property owners say the outdoor activities would scar the face of the mountain.
Vail Resorts also has plans for a zip-line. It calls the project A Place for Family Summer Activities.
