Dangerous Inmate Captured After Escape

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4)- Police captured an escaped inmate, considered dangerous, on Tuesday afternoon, about six hours after he went missing.

Sean R. Garcia, 27, escaped from the Colorado Department of Corrections in Golden about 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers arrested him near Bannock and Broadway. Garcia was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

He was incarcerated on weapons, theft and public peace convictions out of Rio Blanco County.
